Introduction
Arne Nelson is running for President of the International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY) with a vision of unity, reform, and empowerment. As a current IFLRY Vice President and former International Officer of the Young Democrats of America (YDA), Arne brings a proven record of building delegations, strengthening international ties, and increasing member engagement within IFLRY.
He has led large delegations to IFLRY General Assemblies across the globe and forged strong partnerships with like-minded youth organizations. Hold one in-person GA each year to maximize attendance and inclusivity. Consolidating into a single annual GA will reduce financial strain on member organizations and enable broader participation.
Ex Officio Bureau Roles for International Officers
Formalize roles for Member Organizations' International Officers as ex officio (non-voting) members of the IFLRY Bureau to strengthen the link between the Bureau and member organizations.
Implement Statutes Review Recommendations
Fully enact the Statutes Review Committee's recommendations to modernize IFLRY's governance, clarifying leadership roles and streamlining processes.
